Welcome to UMA + Climbing Part 1
Meeting the eight athletes and kicking off the first challenge: climbing; the competitors go head-to-head in a physical chess match of who can climb the hardest routes at Uncompahgre Gorge with time to spare.
Climbing Sends and Skiing Starts
Back for episode two, we wrap up climbing to see who had the top rock climbing sends for podium spots in Ouray's infamous ice park. We then make our way to Colorado's high-alpine Red Mountain where the athletes compete head-to-head in the Vertical Sprint, skinning and bootpacking up 3,000 grueling vertical feet for time. Then comes the fun part: the downhill.
Big Mountain Descent and Biking Begins
"Ultimate Mountain Athlete", presented by the 2024 Toyota Tacoma, returns to the wind-whipped summit of Red Mountain 3, where athletes transition to the Big Mountain descent.
Downhill Biking & Free Skiing Hard Knocks
The athletes continue with the downhill bike race high and navigate a free ski contest back on Red Mountain three.
Challenges Wrapped & Champions Crowned
